I picked up my 3 Wheeler from Allon White in Cranfield on 1st December when it was -2C, they fitted heated seats which work wonderfully. My only cold spot were the fingers of my right hand and I worked out that the exhaust pipe can be a very effective hand warmer. If you dress up properly you are never cold, driving on your own with the tonneau half on also conserves the heat, your face can get a bit cold but if you buy one of those biker neck scarves and pull it up to the underside of your goggles it works a treat
The most important part is a really good lined RAF helmet, I bought one at a market in Tallin in Estonia for £15 and it looks great and works very well
