I had ordered my 3 wheeler with heated seats as I enjoy them in my daily driver and with experience driving a Jeep Wrangler for many years, after the sun goes down (even mid summer) it can get rather chilly when at speed. So, if heated seats wouldn't be available right away, I would need a back up plan. I know I have posted this before... but, this is my low tech answer to combat the cold passenger
I bought my and a female colleague one of these each last year in November and although they are effective the ladies end up smelling of spent lighter fluid and this was deemed not a good smell by them both.
Plan B in December was to refer to my late Fathers open cockpit flying days, whilst instructing in the winter months he would don a pair of his tights. Fortunately I never witnessed this otherwise I fear I would have been scarred for life. He always wore silk gloves beneath his leather gloves as I believe he did throughout his wartime Spitfire days.
The result of my thought process was to purchase silk gloves for both ladies, and glad to report they are still in operation since a year ago December.
