It's only half come out (I think). It looked sheared off - dragged off.
I left the garage in a small rage so didn't look too closely.
I also bent the spanner, the long spanner, trying to get the front wheel off. And scratched the chrome wheel nut.
It's not been a great afternoon in the garage!
It's going to BHM at the end of the month for a couple of things, hopefully they can fix. I wasn't sure how they attached to the car.... If I've made the hole bigger, I wonder of that's going to be a problem...
Below the male stud is a hex head, then under that is a wood screw thread that is approx 13mm long.
Suggestion on the wheel nuts: get BHM to loosen them, the tighten them back up yourself using the provided spanner and mallet. That way you know you will be able to get them un-done it you need to.
