Howard: I did precisely that when Harley were at the height of their powers in the UK (quite a few years ago now). Bought a new "Terminator Black" FatBoy in deep midwinter, when tumbleweed was blowing through the showroom (OK - I know - bad mixed metaphor

), and did a very fair deal all round. Dealer was just happy to turn over some dead stock and keep the doors open. They can't always wait until Spring: there are wages/rent/rates and stocking charges to pay.
Morgan dealers are no exception. I've no doubt the factory knows that too.
