On the basis that some people are uncomfortable with me expressing my views I have deleted my previous posts and will not post on this again.
Don't understand why you'd say that Phil?
As I've said all along, unless the conversation moves into slander and/or malicious content either with respect to an individual or a specific group, why should you censor yourself.
I will be quick to add that I do tire of how often topics gravitate back to the finances of MMC. This conversation was started because we all recognise that Morgan do not have deep pockets to spend on Marketing, advertising and PR. Hence, the question: what can be done at a grass roots, cost effective level to increase profitability and brand awareness.
Equally, the point is often raised that there have been mistakes made within the company - fine, this can also be accepted BUT show me one company which hasn't made errors. This again, feels like we are stating the obvious and rather than working on the future, dwelling on the past.
If every conversation, that isn't a technical query, always ends up being a dissection of the MMC financials and the mistakes made, then I'd suggest that there isn't much scope for discussion. I'm not for censoring speech but really, can we change the record for once and look at things in a fresh light rather than dragging up the past?
For every person that is put off because some of us are tired of, what feels like, a never ending desire to dissect what MMC have done and how it has effected financials, there are plenty of other who are bored with the same old reasons being used to stifle constructive debate.
