I wanted a convertible sports car which was an event and different when I drove it.
Absolutely - the wife says that every journey is an adventure. It was once said that you should have the best boots, and the best bed you could afford, because if you were not in one, you would be in the other. I think the same way about cars and houses - take every opportunity to enjoy life.
Like some others I want the reliablity of a modern car, the performance of a modern car but the soul and charchter of something from a different era. The Morgan fits the bill 100% and is a car that people warm to not dislike.
Pretty much the reasons for our choice. Another benefit is that I can use it for the day job without winding anyone up whilst still presenting exactly the required image (alternative & expensive!)
Biggest decision at the moment is which v expensive polish to buy it for Christmas.
