As JTL considers I am a poor and inconsiderate driver, I am sure my contribution counts for very little. If you don't want a car as big as the 320D, then the BMW 1 series is an alternative. Having owned one for six years, its been reliable, comfortable and surprisingly fast. Good fuel consumption as well.
