I had thought that the Roadster would be close to the +8 in performance, and, as Boshly says, perhaps it is. However having spent more time in a +8 it's in an entirely different league to the Roadster. Proper handling, planted and much more depth to the engine.... Far far closer to a decent sports cars performance. I'm sorely tempted.

But this does nothing to detract from the Roadster, which is much more of an authentic 'classic' car - but with modern performance. The Roadster was definitely the right car for me, but I'd be very tempted by a +8 in the future.
