I have to say that I tend to agree with your thoughts, when it comes to Morgans; and my 4/4 (Stanley) is very modestly powered in comparison. However, it suits me perfectly.
But each to their own and I admire the people who enjoy modifying their cars.
I am lucky, having spend a fair chunk of my life around very fast motorbikes, using them on both roads and tracks: therefore my own need for speed has been long since satisfied.
