A couple of photos of the restraint strap I made to keep the front end of the folded hood from flapping. Made up of a folded piece of leather with the Tenax base riveted to it and a heavy duty press stud to hold it to the hood frame. The leather is folded over the rear of the rivets and sewn down to stop any risk of scratching.
Morgans solution (why wait so long to do it?) means the hood flap is rather untidily folded on the top of the rail and partly sticks out into the breeze.
