Those of you who read my posts will know I've been trying to promote communication between the factory and TM for some time now, basically to use customer feedback to improve the product be that M3W, Trad or Aero, and I've already expressed welcome to Mark (see previous entry in this thread).
I also PM'd Simon to welcome this development, but caution that there could be an adverse effect on the forum's dynamic. The great benefit of TM is, as has already been discussed, the frank and open exchange of information; the good, the bad and the ugly. Mark's decision to join the forum openly is a courageous one, and one that should be welcomed and supported by us all. However, if this results in all issues being PMs to Mark rather than public sharing, then I fear this is a negative consequence, almost a form of censorship.
So, once again welcome Mark... but please, please try to keep to the open exchange format and don't get dragged into private only exchanges that will surely leave those outside the discussion feeling marginalised or excluded. This will no doubt be difficult initially, but hopefully pay dividends in the longer term, not least in terms of customer confidence
