Checking over Aldermog I noticed some frayed wires sticking out from the throttle cable where the inner enters the outer.
I cut the broken bits off so they couldn't stick and called Williams: they had a spare but the workshop is fully booked until mid May. I had to go there to pick up the new side screen panels.
Lawrie talked me through the fitting, the throttle body end is simple but getting the other end through the bulkhead and to the throttle looks fun.
Has anyone here done this? There isn't a big hurry, the cable still has 50% of its strands.... But I should do it as a car with a broken throttle cable isn't a lot of use!
Peter another point in favour of the aero is its wireless throttle system so no cable to replace.
