I played around with throat mikes years ago when I was building helmet to helmet communication systems. I used a soft cloth strap with a little rubber foam strip for stiffening and a velcro fastener. It was worn like a dog collar and worked perfectly. I never put it into production as I ceased making the units when cheap Asian made intercoms came on the market.
