Does anybody know the specs for new 4-leaf springs? What should be the unloaded camber (cm height) of a new 4-leaf spring? What other specifications can/should be provided for reshaping/retempering?
If the premature failure of these springs is down to an inferior grade of steel, I suspect no amount of re setting or heat treatment will give you a long term fix. It’s a lot of effort to change the springs, IMHO if your springs have degraded get a new set.
