Excellent, so it looks like I'll have 5.5" rims on my 2012 Plus 4 then, they're currently shod with 195/60 R15 which I feel detract from delivering optimal steeribg feel and leave the car looking way too archy, ideally I'd like to go with 185/80 R15.

Vredestein Sprint Classics are available in this size but like all the classic tyres they're rediciously expensive and I'd actually prefer a modern tread patern for better water dispersion, such options in this size are very limited as most are van tyres so far from ideal for a light weight Morgan.

Dispite their Chinese origins I'm tempted to try a set of Hifly HF201 185/80R15 93T, while this is a budget tyre I'm yet to be convinced they won't perform just as well and maybe even better in some respects than one of the silly expensive classic specific tyre options from Dunlop/Goodyear/Vredestein etc thinking

Another cost effective option would be to go with a set of Vredestein t-trac 2 165/80r15 but I do feel a 165 section tyre is quite skinny, and a 185/80 is over an inch taller than a 165/80 which I prefer.
