So, following this thread, should I be concerned about leaf springs on a 2003 +8, 90,000 miles, and what would I be looking for if they need changing? Crashes about a bit over the bumps, but mostly rebound spring chatter( I think?). I replaced the original rear dampers with competition adjustable Spax, and fitted a Panhard rod. Rear looks level to me, although sometimes my specs are askew 💁♂️. Drives like I expect, and havent noted any broken springs, and am satisfied theyre greased up ok- no squeaking mostly.
