That's odd that they would say that as the clutch is inside the trans bell housing and the motor, comp housing and mid adapter all have to come out to gain access to the clutch.

They probably said it to give you the impression they were giving you something free. Now I will say that taking the old comp off and doing the new shaft with bearing is additional and would take more time, but probably not more than another hour, if that.

I'm glad that both of you guys were taken care of at a discounted rate. If items are going to fail, it's great to have them fail in the general area of needed upgrade parts.
