This is a very nice modification. Four-seaters have Bilstein dampers with a built-in bump stop.
The problem is that with four people they sit on the bump stops leaving almost no suspension for compression. Adding air springs, one can adjust ground clearance depending on load and gain an inch of effective suspension travel. This transforms the handling of the car.
