I'm in the process of buying a 4/4 or +4 and I'm trying to figure out the old style hood.
The reason I liked the idea to have it as an option was that it appeared to me that it was easy to remove the old style hood completely and store it behind the seats? Leaving the car with no apparent hood when down.
Is this the case... if not what is the old style hood about?

I had a loaner from BHM with the stud hood when my Roadster was being made, I had it for around a month.
I do prefer the look, however it's such a marginal thing that I prefer the easy up for its convenience. I've never timed how long it takes to put up the easy up, but I think around one minute. The stud hood, once you've got the hang of it, is still a bit of a faff in comparison.
Yes you can stow the stud hood behind the seats - It can fold up and is not substantial.
