Race - The race went very well for us, but as you will see in the video Henry was getting held up by a Class B V8, being driven by an ARDS instructor!!!!

We all done our best to lighten the spirit from the news of the great Richard Gilbert passing away on Wedsnesday night.

I managed to get a sticker done in time before I departed for Oulton Park

Very happy with the race results, considering the changeable weather conditions in both qualifying and race.

Thanks for sharing the video Lawrie...

Reminds me of a similar dice I had at Donington in 1984 when I was racing a 1500cc Longman engineg Frogeye in Thouroughbred Sportscars. Run by AMOC in those days. I spun on lap one letting another car through who then proceeded to take all the right lines and there was no way for me past again. I was much better on the bendy bits but he had the legs on the straights. Red mist descended in my cockpit and all I could do was focus on his back end..which of course meant I never got past..

BTW the other car was a Morgan driven by Patrick Keen...reg no TOK258
