So here you can see the old set compared to the brand new set,

This set is from one race, as you can see the heat build up from mainly our corner speed is turning the rubber blue. Now these would be ok for your average joe who just does track days but for us these are shot. The rubber has gone hard on the outer edges which means no grip, also we have worn off nearly 3/4 of the starting tread depth.



This is why we are changing to a new tyre set every race we enter. Henry is pushing very hard so he needs the confidence that the tyre will be there for him.
