I struggled to drive the car with the standard 14" steering wheel so I junked it and bought a momo 11" wheel which has a flat bottom and is only about 9.5" top to bottom, this allows you to drive with your knees slightly more bent and provides loads of legroom. Having done around 700 miles in one sitting I can vouch for its comfort. Good luck I hope it works out for you - more fun you cannot have!
