I thought it was interesting to see Adrian's comment about reduced body roll, when I have always thought that body roll isn't a problem on our +4.
I also believe that a panhard rod is of little benefit on narrow cars with leaf springs. The reason being that the shorter the rod the greater the lateral movement induced by the essentially short radius whereas the leaf springs themselves provide pretty good lateral location. However, where cars have coil springs then it is completely different ball game.
I think Adrian's comment about the numbers of raging boy racers are also very true, it is many years since I gave up my National and International competition licences!
On the matter of costs the kit for a five link suspension on an MGB is currently about £1890 without fitting.
