It's a shift in direction for sure. Much more of the fabrication is back in house, and it looks like the bulkheads will now be aluminium instead of stainless. One can only guess at the respective costs, but it's less likely that MMC would go for a higher cost option. So in theory we may see the revised chassis with aluminium bulkhead and floors, which should be lighter and might be a stiffer. I do sense that this evolution is leading to something but what and when is an imponderable.
Lets face it, most buyers of new Morgans won't be concerned about how the chassis has been treated, or what the bulkhead is made of.
