Given that I am reasonably happy with the Alpine system if I had to replace it today I think I would fit this unit.

Alpine CDE-196DAB - CD/DAB Receiver with Advanced Bluetooth

The reasons are that it is IR remote ready and has a front USB port that I can use with my memory sticks loaded with MP3s. (there is another model but the USB port is strangely at the rear)
