The alloys currently fitted are not my cup of tea on an aero car. I suspect possible track use? I'll look at tyre tread wear tomorrow and see if it's been tracked.
Williams told me that the owner fitted those alloys as the originals were too easily damaged.
The original Morgan wheels on the SS are pretty rubbish and very soft so easily damaged by kerbs and potholes. An SS deserves nothing less than Aero wheels, as does the Plus 8!
