Probably stay very much as they are today, possibly increasing slowly as time goes by.

Of course in 2057 all trads will be classified as "Classics!!" . . . Assuming the rolling 40 year rule remains.


But being honest now, we know that aluminium doesn't have a long life and suffers a high write off rate.the aero chasis is unrepairable if it's hit anything harder than a hen crossing the road....so in 2057 there certainly won't be any 40 year old ones around will there. I bet there will still be the 1950s ones still plodding around......

Curious as to what you mean by aluminium not having a long life?
Or do you mean it as in its less likely to have a longer life due to being harder to repair?
