I believe the judder can be caused by cleaning the car!!! apparently when you have washed the car it is best to run round the block and heat up the brakes, this dries the water out from the discs and pads and stops rust forming behind the pads where they touch the disc. (this then leaves pitting on the disc which causes the judder when braking)
