Hi Kirk. How many miles have you managed to do? I've done at least 50 and now in the same position as you. Salt stops play. I can't see myself getting many miles on the car before the first service.
I assume you have been hitting the rev limiter quite easily like myself? I spoke to my dealer last weekend, who said the 3500 rpm limiter is set at 200 hours driving time and not on mileage.
I don't think I knew that the M3W had a "break in" rev limiter. 200 hours is a lot of saddle time. That's 12k miles at 60 mph just for break in. WOW! No matter how fast you're driving, that seems quite excessive to me.
