I'm constantly amazed at the number of people I see using hand held mobile phones or texting whilst at the wheel, both in France and in the UK; usually driving erratically while they do so.
The recent horrendous fatal accidents involving phone users, the publicity campaigns and increasingly draconian penalties don't seem to be making much of an impact on people's conduct. It's inexcusable - particularly as hands free devices are so readily available.
