I have both the auto and the parrot. Currently looking at ways to make the parrot actually usable in the daytime with the roof off as it was designed to be installed flat in the dash not tilted up into the sunlight! A case of form over function unfortunately.
I have this problem with my new TomTom navigator. The old one had a display that I could see with the top down but the new one suffers from a low brightness low contrast display and I can't see anything with the top down. I have fitted an anti-reflection film now and it is better.
