If I swapped the Aero, it would have to be for a Weismann MF4 or MF5 GT.....but being hand built cars again, I'm not sure they would fare any better than a Morgan........and they're German.......as opposed to British so it would be like choosing an ME109 over a Spitfire.....I couldn't do it!! :-)
Great! A chance to pontificate.

In business ( engineering manufacture ) I spent almost as much time in Germany as I did in the midlands and had lots of chances to watch people at work on the factory floor. There was a significant difference in attitudes between German and British workers and it wasnt an issue of who worked harder or even who had the best machinery. It was much more about "seriousness" in the sens that Germans use that word. About sticking to the prescribed system of work, about being careful and conscientious. The German workers, and I accept this is a sweeping generalisation, stuck to what they had been told to do, to the rules so to speak. In contrast British workers had to show their individuality and the fact that they knew best by fiddling with the controls of machinery, by doing things their own way and a bit different from their mates. I wondered if this was just my view and then I spoke to a pal who ran a MacDonalds franchise group and he said the same thing- his biggest problem was getting british people to stick to the rules and work the way the company wanted.
All of this is a long winded way of saying that in all likelyhood, the Weissman would be better built that the Aero.
