(I'm not sure if some of my comrades got the irony!)
I'm well aware the ME 109 was the equal, if not in some ways a better machine. Like much of the engineering that comes out of Germany.
As it happens I will be flying in a vintage Spitfire in 3 months time - one that took part in WWII. Hoping to get a photo of the Aero sat in front of it to post on here.
The worrying part is I have to wear a parachute whilst flying!!!
