I suppose it really comes down to your risk tolerance level. Personally, if I was picking it up from a known dealer who had just gone over everything - from tire pressure to fluid checks - I'd be OK driving it.
However, assuming that right off-the-plane it's ready for a 120 mile drive is a bit of a bridge too far for me, unless you're going to take the time to thoroughly go over it in the parking lot at the airport...
I have to agree there, my dealer had a few minor but important adjustments. Nothing major but i would definitely not drive it home without the dealer giving it the once over.
As far as helmets I like my "Sir Stirling Moss Style" Helmet.
I think there is nothing better to go with the car. Just this man's opinion!
