Drive it. Provided the dealer is reputable a quick check of tyres/fluids/engine start/brakes. A drive round the carpark first. Contingency plan if any blatant problems. A back-up with a trailer if you are very concerned.
Select a good route home on less congested roads.
A nice cruise home with aching cheeks from smilingand replying to admirers. A couple of stops on route for a coffee/toilet break.
Take a GoPro or similar to film the experience. The start of a log of ownership.
