Are the bottom greasing points more important than the top?
Absolutely no question about it. The lower grease nipple lead directly into the gap between the upper and lower bronze bushes. The top nipple feeds a hole which bleeds out above the top bush.
Pretty much all the wear happens on the lower bush, not the upper. Regular greasing of the lower nipple is an absolute must.
