They are training pilots so that they have to work so many years with them but as soon as that period is up, they are leaving


I don't fly anywhere these days, and never used RyanAir even when I did. Why? Poor service, inconvenient destinations, shoddy treatment of staff, and a business model driven by the pursuit of profit above all. All just to skimp on a few quid on tickets, a need which could be easily obviated by simply saving up a bit longer before buying the wretched things.

I don't mean to be too moralistic, But just how bad has a company got to be before people no longer wish to do business with them?

Any race to the bottom in terms of costs and fares catches up eventually

I have flown Ryanair a few times so has my family - they were spot on with my youngest son's severe disabilities and it's been absolutely fine but the true nature of an organisation only shows itself when problems arise and this I hope is a wake up call for all services that are underfunded and under resourced in the name of driving costs down and driving large profits

We just have to pay more for things so that people can be paid a decent wage with decent working conditions
