Internet TV is great.

I don't know how it works with the BBC but here in Italy we pay a TV licence fee and RAI, the equivalent of the BBC, has nearly as much advertising as the commercial stations. At the moment I am working my way through the Miss Fisher series on Rai Play. Fantastic and no advertising. It is a bit weird because the same thing applies to RAI Replay: a few hours after something has gone to air you can watch it publicity free on Replay. It is almost worth watching all the programs a day later.

Movies on Replay are particularly good because when they go to air they always finish late. With Replay not only do you save the time that advertising would use but you can start it a bit earlier and not have to stay up late.
