I added a little something.



I had a new internal sleeve made and threaded to match the lower locking ring. The solid elm knob was turned to match the original metal knob and the sleeve glued inside. It uses the original gear pattern cap and is held to the gearstick using 3 grubscrews the same as the original. This way I could return quickly to the original gearknob if that was ever required.
