Surprised there isn't a control valve hidden away somewhere. I know the heater fan controls heat output to a large degree but surely there is a need to turn off the flow through the core completely during summer. Even my old Land Rover has a manual tap for such in the engine compartment.
Maybe your local dealer will have more info on the Morgan specific installation.
