I went out in the original prototype Suplex 5 link Plus4 driven by Peter Ballard. He didn’t hand back on some very demanding and bumpy roads and I was very impressed. In those days I was quite anti anything that changed the old fashioned Morgan set up. It wasn’t until following SBM in his newly acquired 5 link fitted Brooklands Roadster across the Isle of Man, struggling with the sagging springs of my Roadster, that I realised what I was missing. And really, the 5 link set up is still old technology. Taking into account the cost of replacing my leaf springs, the extra cost of the SSL kit wasn’t too bad and it has transformed the ride and handling of Nero. Highlighted the crap front end but that’s another story......🙄

Taking Nero up Prescott at TOTH really brought home the improvement.
