Just checked my 2012 car ( thanks must go to Planenut who spotted it) and found a crack starting on the offside lower wishbone joint, lets see how the factory deals with this, i don't want a repair to my chassis especially if there are no guarantees the fix will work.
There are 5 M3W's mine included that have had the repair done by MMC. These 5 have done over 2000 miles each with no issues since, which is what you expect. There are others as well with fewer miles since the repair.
