I guess that there is always a danger when quoting parts of a post! My original point was about the predicament that one finds oneself in when already travelling at the designated speed limit and a frustrated queue forms behind. This seems to be a regular occurrence on roads that were once national speed limit and are now peppered with 50mph limits.
Well that's an entirely different matter to the point I was making then. My point is that there are many drivers in my part of the world who will drive at half the posted limit and let long queues of frustrated drivers form up behind them. This is inconsiderate driving.
If you are driving at the limit (70 in a 70 or 50 in a 50) and someone's riding on your bumper to get past, then that person is knob. It's dangerous driving.
