Did you use the plate to secure the cooler? Mine is flimsy aluminum and I would worry about the plate only being secured by two 6mm machine screws. Or do you have it anchored to the cross tube under the engine?
One of the reasons I originally did not go further forward with the lower shelf/plate is the amount of leverage as the it lengthens. I had thought if I used the shelf higher and further forward I would fabricate a third attachment to the shelf to attach to the cross tube under the engine.
The fun is always in trying to figure out how to make something work!
