Why not just mount a small conventional oil cooler complete with a fan under the bonnet where there is plenty of room for it and also plenty of volume for the heat to dissipate into. I do not have the MMC cooling pack because I was not happy with the appearance of their offering, so instead I have mounted a small (approx. 5 inch diameter) fan behind each cylinder and I can manually switch these on and off as needed. I have also fitted a dual oil pressure/oil temperature gauge so that I know when the oil is getting pretty warm and can switch the cooling fans on as needed. If the oil cooler and fan assembly as mentioned above was mounted in the return oil pipe from the engine, the fan on the oil cooler could be wired to come on when the main cooling fans behind the engine are switched on. The oil cooler could be plumbed in with an oil thermostat so that the oil will not pass through the cooler until it reaches 80°C. This arrangement with the ability to switch all 3 fans on and off as required whilst being able to see the oil temperature at any time would seem to me to be the ideal set-up.
