Its going to be fascinating seeing how this works out. After all MMC has made its living , Aero apart, by making a faux old car. How can they maintain that marketing position when they have to put modern technology into the vehicle. Regenerative braking, electric power, batteries and computer control, electric steering. And what about the weight of all this?

IMO they would be best served by simply maintaining their current format. Its unlikely that there will be a 100% ban on petrol engines and the electrification of all bulk manufactured cars would make the MMC niche all the more attractive
