The GDi is a Ford engine so it would come with a standard Ford map. So....do Morgan remap to what they think suits a lighter sports car? If so then I guess they have learned enough by now to tweak the map?
Have they been lazy?
Here is the Ford info with power and torque curves.
Has the Morgan installation caused differences? What have they done to compensate for not using all the standard Ford sensors for non installed components?
The dealer option is the best first choice in my opinion. Could be an installation error.
