Well actually, I did both those items myself!

I used the old favourite, BRASSO!!!

Took me about 1.30 a wheel... but very enjoyable time spent! It will need constant upkeep however, but worth it!


Having a plethora of brass on my trad narrowboat I found I couldn't keep up with the constant polishing of same despite industrial size can of Brasso to hand wink Answer I found was Incralac a miltary approved clear lacquer specifically for non-ferrous metals and available in spray or brush application. Locks in the shine although accept the purist Mog owner will probably still want the pleasure of regular polishing innocent
