Another productive weekend plus a few evenings and a big obstacle has been overcome. At last, the hand brake is back on and in its original location. No room for a support bracket under the tail of the gearbox, so I made one to fit snugly over the top, It's a bit over engineered but that lever isn't going to wobble!

The pro-shaft has been altered to fit the new T5 cosworth gearbox and thankfully its a perfect fit. The gearbox cover has also been fettled so it fits back in its original location. One thing I hadn't taken into consideration was that because the floors are not as thick as the standard marine ply, the gearbox cover was sitting too low. So it now sits on a 12mm softwood base to bring it back to its standard height. Lots of fiddling around but I'm please with the end result.
