Another perspective...
After 2 years with Aldermog, the Roadster I was hooked by the look and style of the car, and found a welcome home in the Morgan communities. But the "vintage charm" soon wore off. I spent quite a lot on suspension upgrades and other alterations, including applying heat/sound proof pads to most of the inside of the cockpit. But it still wasn't right, Caroline found driving it difficult due to the heavy, long throw clutch and heavy steering at slow speed.
So, we bought Tarka the Plus 8: that was in 2014 and since then I've not found anything that could tempt me to change.

BUT.. had the "New Plus Four" been available in 2012 when we bought the Roadster we would have bought one: it looks like a traditional Morgan, probably drives better than the Plus 8 based on my Plus Six experience yet underneath it is a modern car. Not everyone is as in love with the traditional Morgan experience as many are here, the number of very low milage Morgans about shows that they often don't live up to the owners dream. I predict that the Plus Four will change that dynamic and new owners will hang on to their cars. It may seem to be an heretical suggestion, but in a year or so the value of low mileage used Plus 4s may soften.

As has been said, this car is a game changer for MMC. The possible arrival of a 185 bhp Four/Four in 2022 will only speed up the evolution of Morgan.
